According to a report in Prevention magazine, about 17 percent of adults admit that they never floss. How diligent are you about cleaning your teeth?

Did you know that your oral health can lead to major physical issues such as heart disease? Plus, a less-than-stellar smile can actually age you, making you look much older than you really are. Regular flossing and brushing take mere minutes out of your day and they can, literally, save your life. Nevertheless, consistent oral hygiene is a practice that many people shun – in fact, about 25 percent of adults ages 35 to 59 have untreated tooth decay.

It’s a vicious cycle: Not taking care of your gums and teeth can lead to decay and infection, which can lead to major health problems, which can lead to embarrassment about your oral health and dragging your feet about getting the cosmetic dentistry you need to save your smile.

At Smile Texas, we regularly encounter patients who have waited far too long to reach out for the dental care they need. However, they’re never too far gone for solutions and a reversal of their dental health. Remaining static is the only action you should be ashamed of – don’t allow your chagrin or fear keep you away from our practice. Through dental implants, porcelain veneers, and porcelain crowns and bridges, we can provide you with one of the quickest anti-aging “treatments” available today: a Smile Makeover.
