With digital impressions there are no trays or impression material to hold in your mouth. The dental assistant gently moves the small scanner over your teeth as you hold your mouth open. Once the scan is complete, we have a digital file that the dentists can use to plan your smile makeover. Plus, we can instantly transmit this file to our dental laboratory instead of having to mail a physical model of your teeth as with the old approach.
