A Unique Type of Protection for Your New Smile

We all know someone who has broken a very expensive crown within just months of its placement. Invariably, the patient feels like there was something wrong with the dental work and the dentist thinks the patient was using their teeth to crack walnuts. Often, a nasty conflict arises over who is to blame.

To address this potential problem, the dentists of Smile Texas instituted an innovative Last Time You Pay Policy on all porcelain restorations that they place as part of a Smile Makeover.

Our Last Time You Pay policy states:

We will repair or replace any of our crowns, porcelain veneers, or onlays for any reason (including accidental trauma!) for as long as we remain in private practice, provided that:

  • Repair or replacement is done in our office.
  • The tooth in question can be saved.
  • You have had at least two dental cleanings per year since the placement of the crown, porcelain veneers, or onlay. (Cleanings do not have to be done in our office.)
  • You inform us immediately of any dental problem related to our treatment or discovered at your two annual cleanings.

This policy has already saved our patients tens of thousands of dollars over the years that it has been in place (in most cases due to accidents that damaged their dental work). As far as we know, we’re the only dental office in the world that backs their work in this way. So go ahead and hit the slopes, put on those roller blades, or just breathe a sigh of relief knowing that if you do have an accident that affects your new smile, we’ve got your back.
