Don’t Brush Off Your Dental Health

We offer cosmetic dentistry at Smile Texas – but that doesn’t mean we aren’t interested in the health of your teeth and gums. You need a healthy mouth that offers a solid foundation for any aesthetic repairs you may desire. And that begins with brushing your teeth.

According to recent scientific research published in the British Medical Journal, people who don’t brush their teeth twice daily have an increased risk of heart disease. And gum disease – an infection of the tissues that surround and support your teeth – is more likely to occur in individuals who don’t brush regularly. One tool – a simple toothbrush – can contribute greatly to the health of your mouth. Oral health is paramount – it’s the path through which everything passes into your body.

Now, if you haven’t been quite so diligent about tooth brushing in your life, if you fear that gum disease has already started to settle in, that doesn’t mean you’re at a loss. You can still be a candidate for a new smile. There just needs to be some clean-up first. We ask that you don’t allow embarrassment about the state of your teeth or gums to keep you from seeking out repairs. Oftentimes, we can resolve your existing oral health concerns and provide you with a new smile in just two visits to our office.

Through methods such as implant dentistry, porcelain veneers, and porcelain crowns and bridges, your smile can go from so-so to spectacular. And if you’re worried about the pain of the repairs and procedures, at Smile Texas we offer sedation dentistry to ease your fears.

We promise to deliver a brand new beautiful white smile – but you still have to brush your teeth!
