When you smile, do you find that your teeth look disproportioned to the amount of gum tissue present? Do you cringe at how your smile looks due to a “gummy” appearance? Are you unhappy with the shape of your teeth, and wish you had a more attractive, beautiful smile? If you are struggling with excessive gum tissue on the upper dental arch, there’s a solution available to you! At Smile Texas, our professionals are excited to offer the GumTuk procedure to help create balance, harmony, and beauty throughout the smile!

What is the GumTuk procedure?

Drs. Rick Kline and Bret Davis of Smile Texas describe the GumTuk procedure as a laser treatment performed to address a gummy smile. Using a specialized Diode laser, our dentists can safely and gently remove excess gum tissue to lengthen the visible portions of the teeth. This may also be referred to as crown lengthening, in which our team will create a more aesthetic gum line while ensuring the natural teeth are as prominent as possible. When patients achieve this balance and harmony to their smile, they enjoy improved self-confidence in their business and personal lives.

Am I a proper candidate for the GumTuk procedure?

The best way to find out if you are a good fit for the GumTuk procedure is to book a consultation appointment with Drs. Rick Kline and Bret Davis. During this initial evaluation, our team will decide if gum treatment is the best course of action to help patients achieve their smile goals.
